Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS): Evaluation, Coalition Building & Prevention contract

2009 to 2014.  Perform general evaluation services - develop an evaluation database, perform an evidence-based assessment review of ADHS/BHS prevention programs, write annual reports, assess current ADHS/BHS evaluation tools and instruments, attend ADHS/BHS and related meetings, provide capacity development and training, facilitate a statewide network of prevention coalitions and assist with strategic planning, and facilitate the credentialing process for prevention specialists.

Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS): Garrett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention grant

2009 to 2013. SIRC conducts the external evaluation of this project, funded by SAMHSA to ADHS; coordinate with the national cross-site evaluator to provide Arizona data on local suicide prevention projects with LGBTQ youth as the target population, work in Arizona to analyze evaluation data from ADHS subgrantees, and assist ADHS/BHS in forming a statewide network of suicide prevention gatekeeper trainings.
