Valleywise Center for Refugee and Global Health
The Valleywise Center for Refugee and Global Health Provides culturally and linguistically appropriate comprehensive health services to the refugee and immigrant families in Maricopa County through three main service lines–Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Family Practice–at the Phoenix, Peoria, and West Maryvale locations. The team comprises Cultural Health Navigators (CHNs), a refugee pediatric care coordinator, and culturally and professionally trained providers at all levels.

Valleywise Health
Switchboard
Switchboard is a one-stop resource hub for refugee service providers in the United States. Funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Switchboard offers a library of learning resources, an online evidence database, a range of self-paced e-learning courses, regular live learning opportunities, and on-demand technical assistance for ORR-funded organizations.
In 2023, Switchboard and ASU joined forces to launch Switchboard’s 2023 Research Symposium, Re-Imagining Refugee Services in the U.S., hosted by ASU’s Education for Humanity, the SIRC Office of Research Health, and Thunderbird School of Global Management, with funding from the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
